Requested by the Office of Advancement at Loyola University Maryland, this book was envisioned as an opportunity to share the beauty of one of our Evergreen Campus's most iconic buildings.

Dedicated in 1952 on the 100th anniversary of the institution's founding, the windows were designed and created by the studio of Nicola d’Ascenzo (1871–1954) in Philadelphia. The studio is renowned for its beautiful work on the Seven Ages of Man window at Folger Shakespeare Library. He was hailed in Time magazine as one of the two significant stained glass designers in the fifties and sixties.

I took over this project after the first photo shoot, and art directed the second photo shoot, designed the layout, and added the finishing touches to the photographs.

I collaborated with university leadership, the photographer John Coyle of Coyle Studios, and Mixam Press. The guiding philosophy in this layout was to step as far back as I could and let the beautiful artwork and photography speak for themselves.

Keeping within our limited budget, our team created an inspiring testament to one of Loyola's most hidden treasures.
