My niece’s birthday was approaching and what better gift than to share some of the joys of The Met in New York City. This book is only possible because of the Open Access policy that allowed me to use their high-quality photos.
One poem was written when I used to visit every Friday for happy hour when you could get in with just the change in your pocket.
The rest of the haikus were written in 2021. I did break the 5-7-5 convention for a few, these was written before I started my ruisihaiku instagram.
The printer was Artifact Uprising, while they are a little pricey, their print quality was excellent. The images displayed are digital mockups.
